How would you describe your photography style?
I am mainly a candid photographer. This means that I capture moments as they happen and won’t make you spend a large proportion of time posing for pictures, I will steal you away for couple’s photos but I promise this will be minimal
Can we give you a list of shots, or show you our Pinterest Board?
Of course! It’s always helpful to know exactly what you want! I can’t guarantee every one on your shot list, sometimes little things get in the way, but I’ll certainly try my absolute best to get you your shots. Please also bear in mind though, that I do have my own style and way of working.
How long will I be waiting for my photos?
The wait is usually around 3 weeks, but may be up to 6 weeks in peak times. Don’t worry, I want to get your photos to you as quickly as possible and will work day and night to get them to you.
What is your deposit and when is the remaining balance due?
My deposit is £200, and the remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the big day. A wedding contract will also need to be signed before your booking is official.
How many photographs will I receive?
This will depend on your wedding and what is going on. I don’t like to give a number as I like to concentrate on quality rather than quantity. I will not be giving you sub-standard photos, or duplicates for the sake of providing a large number. Instead, I want to give you as many photos that will evoke an emotion, and tell the story of your day as much as possible. However, as a guide, for a full day wedding including preparations, I would estimate this to be anywhere between 350 & 500 photos
How far do you travel?
Ooh, I’ll go anywhere. I am always up for a road trip! Having said that there will likely be charges for venues over 1.5 hour’s travel (one way) from my base which is Northallerton.
Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ weddings?
It really saddens me that people feel like they have to ask this. Absolutely, of course I do.
